Armenia required to protect its cultural values in Nakhichevan and Javahk

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Over the past 10 years, Armenian government has not undertaken essential measures to prevent destruction of our cultural values in Azerbaijan. They didn't apply to international court tribunals to hold official Azerbaijan accountable for that," Armenian publicist, Argam Ayvazyan, author of numerous historical records on Nakhichevan, told today a news conference in Yerevan, stressing that we cannot afford forgetting the cultural heritage which is destroyed because of our passiveness.

Armenia should always have a package of ready documents on Javahk and Nakhichevan to submit them whenever required. "If Armenia does not deal with or promptly respond to the problems of Javahk, that Armenian-populated region will have the same fate as Nakhichevan as our cultural values there are now being destroyed, " Ayvazyan said in conclusion.
