18th conference of Association for Electoral Authorities of Europe to be held in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - "18th annual conference of the Association for Electoral Authorities of Europe will be hosted in Yerevan at the Ani Plaza Hotel from September 3 to 5. The conference will be entitled " Courting the right to vote", Garegin Azaryan , the head of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia said a press conference today in Yerevan.



The conference will bring together over 150 representatives from 28 countries and various international organizations, in particular, the heads of constitutional courts and the chairmen of Central Electoral Committees.



According to him, during the conference an exhibition of electoral equipment and services will be organized.



RA Central Electoral Commission, the Association for Electoral Authorities of Europe with support of OSCE Office in Yerevan and the Armenian branch of the International Foundation for Election Systems are organizers of the event.



Association for Electoral Authorities of Europe was founded in 1991. The seat of the secretariat operates permanently in Budapest (Hungary).
