Armenia lacks confidence to electoral processes

PanARMENIAN.Net - "The Central Electoral Committee of Armenia is working very quickly and effectively during preparations of electoral lists and summarization of elections. Even in some European countries, on the next day after elections results are yet unclear, and preliminary assumptions are made based on exit-polls data, " Garegin Azaryan , the head of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia, told a press conference in Yerevan today.



In respect to shortcomings of the electoral system, Mr. Azaryan stressed, that people lack confidence to electoral processes, the electoral culture is not formed yet, candidates and parties incorrectly assess their capabilities before and after elections.
