Parliaments of Armenia and Artsakh ready for closer cooperationAugust 29, 2009 - 18:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 26-28, Nayira Zohrabyan, Head of NA Standing Committee on European Integration, carried out a working visit to Nagorno Karabakh Republic to meet with President Bako Sahakyan, Parliament Speaker Ashot Gulanyan, Foreign Minister Georgy Petrosyan and Heads of NKR parliamentary committees.During the meeting with NKR President, Ms. Zohrabyan said that Armenian Parliament, upon the initiative of Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, will soon set up an adjunct body coordinating RA parliament committee's work in international organizations. Parliamentarians from Artsakh will be regularly invited to its sessions for discussing issues related to international organization's position on Karabakh conflict. Meeting with official representatives from Stepanakert also focused on current situation with talks, RA NA press service reports.
