RA Minister of Transportation was briefed on road construction in Gegharkunik and Tavush regionsSeptember 8, 2009 - 20:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - RA Minister of Transportation Gurgen Sargsyan paid a working visit to Gegharkunik region. The Minister was briefed on Sevan-Martuni intergovernmental road construction, Ministry press service reported.A reconstruction of Sevan-Martuni road 2-km section, which was submerged under water as a result of water level rise in the lake of Sevan is planned. RA state budget will allocate AMD 376 million for repair works, scheduled to be completed in summer 2010. The minister also visited Tavush region, where Aygehovit-Vazashen-Paravakar road reconstruction was implemented. RA state budget will allocate AMD 210 million for reconstruction purpose.
