  ARMENIAN ANCIENT MOSAIC DESTROYED AS RESULT OF BURST OF GUN FIRE ON CHURCH OF NATIVITYApril 11, 2002 - 23:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - As a result of the burst of the gun fire on the church of Nativity in Bethlehem the ancient Armenian mosaic was destroyed. "Washington post" newspaper states this referring the statement of the Roman order Minorites. The newspaper states that militants' prohibition to come near to the church of Nativity in Bethlehem does not allow making conclusions about real amount of destruction.
