Development of Armenian-Iranian ties to contribute to stability in regionSeptember 15, 2009 - 20:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 13, RA Ambassador to Iran Grigor Arakelyan submitted his credentials to Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad. During the meeting, Armenian diplomat promised to do his best to contribute to development of bilateral ties and realization of joint programs.Iranian President stressed the high level of Armenian-Iranian relations, which helps extend bilateral cooperation in various spheres and implement existing agreements, contributing to development and stability in the region. Arakelyan expressed hope that after the formation of Iranian Government mutual visits and joint programs would continue, RA MFA press service reports. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
