RA-Turkey railway traffic could be launched within 2 days after the agreement is reached

PanARMENIAN.Net - SCRW will allocate RUB 50 million to construction of logistics center at Akhuryan frontier station, South Caucasian Railways Senior Deputy Director General Marat Khakov stated.



In this connection, he added that RA-Turkey railway traffic could be launched within 2 days after the agreement is reached.

Preparatory works are being conducted. "The station is vacated of old carriages, project designs developed for administrative buildings construction at customs and frontier points. Constructions and assembling operations are scheduled for October," he said, adding that investment volumes could be assessed in full after detail analysis.
