Yerevan to host International Art Criticism ForumSeptember 28, 2009 - 18:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 29-30, Armenia will host International Art Criticism Forum, organized by International and RA Associations of Art Critics.The scientific conference will host art critics, historians, art theorists and culture experts on Middle East, Central Asia and South Caucasus. "Art criticism is a part of art these days. Modern art criticism is facing crisis. The Scientific forum aims at the search and discovery of possible solutions to crisis situation," conference coordinator, International Art Critics Association President Nazaret Karoyan. "Art commercialization is a crucial issue, which has to be resolved as soon as possible. The conference will feature discussions on Contemporary Art Criticism issues, as well as visits to museums and art schools.
