Lilit Mkrtchyan suffers first defeat at FIDE Grand Prix

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian chess player Lilit Mkrtchyan suffered her first defeat from Chinese Xu Yuhua in the 3rd round of FIDE Grand Prix going on in Nanjing, China.



In the 1st and 2nd rounds, Mkrtchyan made a draw with Russia's Baira Kovanova and France's Marie Sebag respectively.



Georgia's Nana Dzagnidze leads the tournament with 3 points.



Lilit Mkrtchyan shares the 9-11th positions with Marie Sebag and Shen Yang, who will be her rival in the 4th round.
