FAMOUS FOOTBALL-PLAYER ALEXANDER KOVALENKO DIED

PanARMENIAN.Net - Famous Armenian football-player, USSR champion, USSR cup holder Alexander Kovalenko died April 1. He was the legend of the Armenian football. Kovalenko was considered one of the best full-backs of the star team "Ararat-73" in 1973. April 21, being a part of "Ararat-73" veteran team he would play with the USSR veteran all-star team in honor of 75-th anniversary of famous trainer Nikita Simonian.
