From March developments to Soviet parties: 3 painters held join exhibition in NPAKOctober 2, 2009 - 20:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 2, NPAK Experimental Art Center hosted the joint exhibition of three painters and friends Garik Gabrielyan, Vardan Jaloyan and Edgar Amroyan.Exhibited paintings were created based on photos. "In my photos, I tried to absolve human being from social roles and statuses and left purely human contours," painter Garik Yengibaryan said, displaying his "Fragments" collection created over the past 10 months. Vardan Jaloyan's "Body Structure" bears mostly political character. That's a kind of protest against government following March developments. The pictures depict Armenian society's real situation and citizens' oppressed state, painter says. "Soviet Parties", series of paintings by Edgar Amroyan, depicts the active life of the 1970's Soviet youth.
