National Academy hosted exhibition in memory of Henrik Igityan

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 9, RA NAS exhibition hall hosted the opening of first Armenian still life painting, dedicated to the memory of Armenian art critic Henrik Igityan.



Exhibition aimed at raising society's interest in the development of still art,

This is the first event in the series of exhibitions planned for 2010 ("Armenian Landscape" and "Figurative Art").



Exhibition displayed 50 painting by 11 Armenian painters of different generations (Ararat Sargsyan, Grigor Khandjyan, Hakob Hakobyan, Mary Hovelyan-Hakobyan, Lavinia Bazhbeuk- Melikyan, Vagharshak Aramyan, Aram Isabekyan, Armen Gevorgyants, Ruben Grigoryan, Sargis Hamalbashian, Arevik Arevshatyan).
