RECOGNITION OF FACT OF ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY BEING ACTIVELY LOBBIED IN US CONGRESS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Senator of California US state Jack Scott considers necessary to include the question of recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey in 1915-1922 in US Congress agenda. Scott emphasized in the conversation with the «Arminfo» agency correspondent that the Californian Senate had already passed several resolutions on the Armenian Genocide. He stated he would continue actively lobbying the recognition of the Armenian Genocide in US Congress. The Senator stressed he cooperated with Congressman from California Afam Schiff, who actively lobbies the recognition of the Armenian Genocide in the Congress.
