«ARMENTEL» COMPANY AGREES TO STOP PROCESS OF COLLECTING PAYMENT FOR MINUTE PAYMENT WITH VAT FROM JURIDICAL PERSONSMarch 26, 2002 - 21:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The leadership of communication monopolist of Armenia, «ArmenTel» company has agreed to stop the process of the collecting of payment with VAD from juridical persons. According to «Arminfo» agency, recently the «ArmenTel» leadership was invited to Office of Public Prosecutor and agreed to compensate the sum paid in addition to the stipulated tariff after detailed consideration of the issue. It should be reminded that February 8, justice minister David Arutyunian appealed the Office of Public Prosecutor with a call to take corresponding measures against «ArmenTel»'s breach of the terms of agreement signed between «ArmenTel» and Armenian government February 2. Despite the agreement achieved earlier, «ArmenTel» collected per minute payment with VAT for city calls from the juridical persons.
