Huseyin Bagci: Turkey can't interfere in Karabakh issue settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - RA-Turkish rapprochement protocols will positively affect both states, Vice President of European Security Academy and Middle East Technical University scientific board member Huseyin Bagci said at Yerevan-Ankara-Moscow TV bridge on "New Geopolitical situation in the East: Armenian-Turkish rapprochement, problems and realities".

Commenting on Turkish authorities' statements that Turkish parliament will not ratify Protocols till progress is registered in Karabakh conflict settlement, Huseyin Bagci stated, ''Turkey should not interfere in Karabakh issue settlement. Yet, Ankara could contribute to the process.'' Still, Huseyin Bagci did not deny the fact that the majority in Turkey believes Ankara has to support Azerbaijan. Necessity of a breakthrough in RA-Turkey relations is what we're discussing here. It's a shame that two neighboring countries don't have normal relations,'' the Professor said.
