FIFA bans Azeri flags at Turkey -Armenia football match

PanARMENIAN.Net - FIFA banned Azeri flags at Turkey -Armenia football match due on October 14 at Ataturk stadium in Bursa. Initially, the ban was imposed by Bursa municipality, yet was lifted later on.



Turkish Football Federation President Mahmut Ozgener confirmed the information. "Azeri flags will not be allowed at the match. FIFA will not allow politics to interfere with football," Hurriyet cited Ozgener as saying.
