Trial over Nicol Pashinyan continues October 21

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 20 the court of general jurisdiction of the Shengavit community of Yerevan has not made a decision on the accused Nicol Pashinyan editor-in- chief of the "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily, postponed the sitting until October 21st. 



The Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan dismissed the motion asking to disqualify the judge, submitted by Nicol Pashinyan and his lawyers Lusine Sahakyan and Edward Varosyan. 



After the break, Nicol Pashinyan's counsel submitted another motion asking to give her 5 minutes to speak with her client in a separate room, which was not granted. The Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan announced that the trial is postponed until October 21, and during that time lawyers will be able to meet with their client.
