Reforms will promote Armenian police structure improvement

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 23, Interdepartmental Committee for Armenian police structure reforms implementation sitting, headed by RA National Security Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan , was held.



According to Chief of RA Police Artur Osikyan, reforms to be submitted for ratification within 4-month period, will promote improvement in Armenian police structure and establishment of trust atmosphere between the police and society, as well as struggle against crimes and public order maintenance.



In his turn, Artur Baghdasaryan welcomed police reforms, stressing the importance of bringing Armenian legislation into compliance with European standards, RA NSC press service reported.
