Documentary about Javahk filmed in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan hosted a presentation of "Vahe" documentary describing current situation in Javahk and history of Javahk Armenians. As Mitk Analytical Center reported to PanARMENIAN.Net the documentary was filmed by Arusyak Simonyan and Astghik Melkonyan who spent a whole year on material collection.



Film portrays day-to day political, social and economic problems as described by Javahk region residents. "The film aimed to provide better insight in the live of Javahk Armenians. The film is mostly meant for the eyes of Armenian youth. We also hope Javahk Armenians will take the film as a signal to help them disperse their sense of defenselessness and loneliness,'' Astghik Melkonyan said.
