Conference on pesticide control held in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - A conference on pesticide control was held in Yerevan on November 17. The purpose of the event initiated by UN FAO and RA Agriculture Ministry is to discuss the persisting problems with representatives of public and private sectors.



"The program is extremely important and I am hopeful that their conference will speed up its implementation," said Levon Rukhkyan, Deputy Minister of Agriculture.



For his part Greek Ambassador to Armenia informed that Greece sponsors 5 programs with a 5-million budget in Armenia with the assistance of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.
