Speaker of Cypriot House of Representatives calls on Turkey to recognize Armenian Genocide

PanARMENIAN.Net - Speaker of Cypriot House of Representatives Marios Garoyan has called on Turkey to acknowledge Armenian Genocide. Only the recognition of such crime can help fully restore historical justice. "Armenian nation continues the struggle for the international recognition of one of the heinous crime committed at the beginning of the last century," Garoyan said during an event dedicated to the 94th anniversary of Armenian Genocide. As victims of Turkish barbarism, Armenians and Cypriots are fully entitled to continue struggle for justice, Cyprus News Agency quotes Speaker as saying.
