Armenia to host annual conference on Heifer projects

PanARMENIAN.Net - Annual conference on Heifer projects will launch in Tsakhkadzor on December 1-4.



The conference will feature the following trainings: "Modern farm management in Israel and Armenia: comparative research", "Heifer strategic approach to community development concept". 2009 conference results will be summarized and 2010 action plans discussed.



Project implementers, partners, community leaders and youth club coaches will attend the conference.



Heifer International is a nonprofit charitable organization based in Little Rock, Arkansas, dedicated to relieving global hunger and poverty. It provides gifts of livestock and plants, as well as education in sustainable agriculture, to financially-disadvantaged families around the world.



19 Heifer projects are being currently implemented in Armenia.
