Ayb Educational Foundation to build school campus in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ayb Educational Foundation held Wednesday a discussion on implementation of Educational Center project.



The Foundation plans to build a school campus in Yerevan, including all infrastructures (school, church, media art center, sports complex, studios, hostels and gardens).



"The foundation also aims to create so-called training society," said monk Mesrop Aramyan, Head of Foundation's Board of Trustees.



At that, he noted that the center will be located in Tbilisi highway, covering a total area of 6.5 hectares. The school will to have 800 students receiving education in three stages - primary, secondary and high.



"Armenian government promised to transfer the land without compensation, but the final decision is still to come," Father Aramyan said.



"The project costs $ 47million, with 10% to be allocated by the government," Foundation's Executive Director David Sahakyan said.



Ayb Foundation's project aimed at creating a "school of future" was approved by President Serzh Sargsyan and Premier Tigran Sargsyan, who expressed willingness to assist in the project.
