Latvian President Valdis Zatlers to pay official visit to ArmeniaDecember 9, 2009 - 20:02 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - By the invitation of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Latvian President Valdis Zatlers will carry out a three-day official visit to Armenia. Latvian leader will be accompanied by his spouse Lilita Zatlers and a delegation consisting of ministers of economy, interior, environmental affairs and other officials.During his visit, Mr. Zatlers will meet with Armenian Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan¸ Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II. Together with his Armenian counterpart, he will also take part in Armenian-Latvian business-forum. Mr. Zatlers will also pay respect to Genocide victims in Tsitsernakaber memorial, as well as visit Genocide Museum and plant a tree in Memory Park. Latvian leader is also scheduled to meet with YSU faculty members and students, as well as visit Yerevan Brandy Company and the Matenadaran (depositary of ancient manuscripts).
