Armenia hopes Turkey won't delay protocols ratificationDecember 10, 2009 - 14:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Official Yerevan will fulfill all international obligations it undertook, Armenia's President said. "If Ankara drags out ratification of the protocols, Yerevan will exercise its international rights. I have already instructed to work out amendments to the Armenian legislation referring to signature, ratification and nullifying international agreements," Serzh Sargsyan said during a joint news conference with his Latvian counterpart Valdis Zatlers. "The more the process is protracted the more barriers will appear for normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations," he said. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
