  Ankara's attempts to link Karabakh to Armenian-Turkish reconciliation doomed to failureDecember 10, 2009 - 15:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Ankara's attempts to link Karabakh issue to the Armenian-Turkish reconciliation are doomed to failure, RA President said. "We are grateful to all states and politicians who contributed to dialogue between Armenia and Turkey. But I would like to emphasize that only Yerevan and Ankara will be responsible for success or failure of the Armenian-Turkish process," Serzh Sargsyan said at a joint news conference with his Latvian counterpart Valdis Zatlers. President Sargsyan also said he welcome U.S. President Barack Obama's position on normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relations. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
