Arthur Baghdasaryan: Armenia's rating rises to a qualitatively new levelDecember 12, 2009 - 17:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Orinats Yerrkir party has a firm place in Armenia's political domain and always proposes new ideas, according to party's Chairman Arthur Baghdasaryan.Orinats Yerkir will always strive towards the reforms Armenian society seeks for. "We'll consistently fulfill all our promises. We find reforms imperative for our state, and if we want to change society, we should start with ourselves," he said. At that, he expressed appreciation of President Serzh Sargsyan's initiatory policy which helped raise Armenia's rating to a qualitatively new level. Touching on Armenia's foreign policy, Mr. Baghdasaryan said the party attached importance to normalizing ties with neighbors. "In that context, we fully support current Armenian-Turkish normalization process which require us to get rid of victim complex. We are a triumphant nation, as proven by our victory in Artsakh war," he stressed. With regard to Armenia's economic situation, Mr. Baghdasaryan pointed out to stabilization tendencies. "Large-scale economic programs like the construction of Iran-Armenia railroad, Iran-Armenia-Georgia highway and the new bloc of nuclear power plant will contribute to that," he said.
