CSTO RRF to be re-equipped in 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will re-equip the Rapid Reaction Force (RRF) in 2010, CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha said during a Yerevan-Moscow TV space bridge.



According to him, formation of the peacekeeping capacity will be completed and joint training of peacekeeping forces will be launched next year. As to the possibility of deploying Russia's military base in Central Asia, Mr. Bordyuzha said that he does not see such a necessity.
