Armenian Humanitarian Seminary of Calcutta marks Komitas' 140th birth anniversary

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Humanitarian Seminary of Calcutta has marked the 140th birth anniversary of Komitas. The ceremony was held in the newly-opened hall of seminary's repaired building.



The event was attended by Armenian Ambassador to India Ara Hakobyan, Head of Humanitarian Seminary of Calcutta Khoren Hovhannisyan and Armenian community representatives.



"Komitas' music converts an atheist to a believer, inspiring him with love. That's a music which ennobles," Khoren Hovhannisyan said.
