  Armenian Cossack Union to be named after internal affairs minister of Russian Empire Loris MelikovDecember 17, 2009 - 16:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Lieutenant-general Karen Zadoyan was elected Ataman of Armenian Cossack Union on December 17 through open voting. As Karen Zadoyan said in his report, the Armenian Cossack Association will be named after the Minister of Internal Affairs of Russian Empire Loris Melikov. Karen Zadoyan also informed, that a branch office of Armenian Cossack Union will be opened in Novorossiysk soon, Armenian Church of St. Gregory the Illuminator will be completed in Novorossiysk, other activities to strengthen the brotherhood between Armenian and Russian Cossacks will be carried out.
