Turkey to bear responsibility for possible failure of Armenian-Turkish dialogue

PanARMENIAN.Net - In case Armenian-Turkish dialogue fails, the entire responsibility will lie upon Turkey, according to RPA parliamentary group member Gagik Minasyan.

"Should Ankara torpedo the process with Yerevan, it will gain the reputation of unreliable partner for U.S. and other countries," he told a news conference on Friday.

In this context, he pointed out to the increasing number of U.S. congressmen co-sponsoring Armenian Genocide resolution.

Resolution 252 affirming the U.S. record on the Armenian Genocide was formally introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on March 17 by Reps. Adam Schiff and George Radanovich. The document is supported by 135 congressmen, unlike Resolution 316 which has 10 supporters.
