Karabakh conflict resolution impossible without NKR participation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan's warlike statements do not inspire any hope that Nagorno Karabakh conflict can be settled by 2010, according to RPA parliamentary group member Gagik Minasyan.

"Azerbaijan should put up with the fact that conflict settlement is impossible without NKR officials' participation," he told a news conference in Yerevan on Friday. "Artificial speeding up of the conflict resolution will only damage the peace process."

"Baku's nervous conduct over congressional decision to allocate $8 million to Karabakh in 2010 has driven Baku in a corner. Azerbaijan ceased to be a reliable partner, becoming one of the most unstable countries in the region," Minasyan said.
