Amenia-Turkey: The party proposing preconditions should bear responsibility for consequences

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian FM Edward Nalbandyan received Friday the Turkish journalists who carrying out a visit to Yerevan. Welcoming the guests, Armenia's top diplomat said the visit was a good occasion for Turkish media and society to get familiarized with Yerevan's approach to various issues.



Answering Turkish journalists' questions, FM Nalbandyan ruled out the possibility of any linkage between Karabakh conflict settlement and Armenian-Turkish reconciliation.



At that, he noted that Armenian-Turkish dialogue started with the mutual understanding of the fact that any preconditions to normalization of ties would imply a stalemate in the process. "The party proposing preconditions should bear responsibility for the consequences," Foreign Minister said, RA MFA press service reported.
