Armenian President awarded the rank of Colonel-General to RA NSS HeadDecember 18, 2009 - 20:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has signed a decree on December 18, under which the Head of Armenian National Security Service Gor Hakobyan received the rank of Colonel-General, NSS Deputy Heads Felix Tsolakyan and Romik Haroutunyan obtained the rank of Lieutenants General. The President also awarded the Medal "For military service" to a group of employees of Armenian NSS for their significant contribution to national security and courage while fulfilling their duties. Another presidential decree awarded the Honorary Order of the Republic of Armenia to Levon Sayan (France) for his significant contribution to strengthening of Armenian-French friendly relations and for years of service for the benefit of the nation, press office of RA President reported.
