RA NAS awarded certificates for contribution to development of astronomy

PanARMENIAN.Net - In frames of International Year of Astronomy RA National Academy of Sciences awarded certificates to to sponsors, scholars, journalists for the contribution to the development of astronomy in Armenia.



Among others certificates were given to a distinguished woman astronomer Elena Nikoghosyan, winners of the international school Olympiad in astrophysics Hayk Hakobyan and Hayk Stepanyan.



In the framework of International Year of Astronomy Armenia participated in and implemented a number of programs: "100 hours of Astronomy", "Window to Space", "Cosmic Diary", "She is Astronomer", "Astronomy and World Heritage", etc.
