  BAKU OPPOSITIONIST CONSIDERS ALIYEV KNOWINGLY PROVOKES EXPELLING AZERBAIJAN FROM CEJanuary 18, 2002 - 23:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In an interview to Baku "Azadlig" newspaper leader of the reformatory wing of Popular Front of Azerbaijan party Ali Kerimli expressed a supposition that Heydar Aliyev knowingly goes to confrontation with Strasbourg to achieve the country expelling from the Council of Europe. According to Kerimli version, Baku governors are interested in Azerbaijan withdrawal from CE, as it will let to deprive western observers of control over the coming presidential elections.
