Combined Endeavor 2010 goal is global security

Yerevan hosted Tuesday a pre-planning conference on Combined Endeavor 2010 exercise. The event organized by the U.S. European Command brought together 30 communication specialists from 34 countries, including both NATO members and partner states.



“The knowledge and skills acquired during the exercise will be applied during coalition operations aimed at creating a secure environment both on regional and global level,” Deputy Defense Minister Ara Nazaryan said.



“Over the past 16 years, Armenia has taken part in 8 exercises. The knowledge and skills acquired during the trainings were used in Iraq, Kosovo and Afghanistan,” he added.
