Armenia, Georgia to construct 400- kilowatt electricity transmission line

Armenia and Georgia are successfully collaborating in the energy sphere. Today, a bilateral agreement on 400- kilowatt electricity transmission line construction was signed, Georgian Premier Nika Gilauri said.



As he noted at the joint news conference with his Armenian counterpart Tigran Sargsyan, the project will serve both Armenia’s and Georgia’s interests.



Armenian Prime Minister, in turn, stated that high voltage electricity transmission line construction is included in 2010 program of Armenian Government and expressed confidence about efficient and fast implementation of the project in current year.
