RA National Security Council secretary Artur Baghdasaryan met UNDP Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery delegation led by Nigel Calson on Tuesday.

“Armenia, being a high-risk country is likely to be afflicted by natural disasters. Therefore, the range of catastrophe management reforms should be expanded,” Artur Baghdasaryan emphasized during the meeting.

As Nigel Calson said, the UNDP Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery aims to assess the potential of Armenian organisations engaged in crisis prevention and reduces disaster risks by working with international organisations.
