Arthur Abraham: Dirrell is an awkward fighter

PanARMENIAN.Net -
Undefeated “King” Arthur Abraham (Germany) and his coach Uli Wegner moved training camp to Palm Springs, the United States. Abraham, who leads the tournament after the first round, will take on Andre Dirrell (USA) at the Super Six World Boxing Classic Group Stage 2 on March 6.

According to box-club.ru, starting from February 12 Abraham resumed sparrings and now works with 2 sparring partners.

Abraham has already watched a few fights with Dirrell, including the last fight vs. Karl Froch (UK). “Dirrell is a very skilled, yet very awkward fighter. He is fast but I certainly want to leave the ring as a winner,'' Abraham told Ruslife.eu.

Uli Wegner, the Armenian fighter’s coach said that they have a lot of work to do. “I am very happy about how our work is going on. Arthur is having tough sparrings. This stage of his training will be the main preparation for the tournament. If all stages are as successful as now, then I have no doubts on the winner of the tournament on March 6,” Wegner said.
