Yerevan to commemorate national hero of Armenia Movses Gorgisyan

Sunday, February 28 Yerevan will commemorate the national hero of Armenia Movses Gorgisyan. The event titled “The mourning is eternal without struggle” will be held at Komitas Chamber Music Hall.



Moses Gorgisyan

Moses Gorgisyan (1961-1990), national hero of Armenia: founded “Rodina” and “Glasnost” magazines in 1987. Became a member of National Determination Union in 1997. Participated in national liberation movement and formation of “The army of independence”. Was killed in the battle near frontier village of Eraskh.
