Yerevan Water: water tariff may increase by 14,3% in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - The water tariffs may increase by 14,3 per cent in July 2010 in Armenia, Gagik Margaryan, commercial director of Yerevan Water told a press conference in Yerevan. "Rates could rise in July 2010 from AMD 181 to 206.98," he said. Yerevan Water on February 6, 2010 asked the Public Services Regulation Commission of Armenia with the request to revise water tariffs.

According to Margaryan, the main factors influencing the changed rates are the volume of water sold, inflation rate and the euro rate.
