TALKS OF CYPRUS PRESIDENT WITH HEAD OF TURKISH SEPARATISTS CONTROLLING NORTH OF ISLAND NOT CROWNED WITH SUCCESS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yesterday the talks between the President of Cyprus Glavkos Kliridis and the leader of the Turkish separatists controlling the north of the island Rauf Denktash took place. The initiator of the meeting was the head of so called " Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus", declared after the occupation of the part of the island by Turkish army. Last time President of the country and the leader of the separatists met four years ago. The one-hour conversation did not have any results. But the country's head and the leader of the separatists agreed that they would meet next year January to continue the dialog on the united Cyprus structure.
