MTS and Deutsche Telekom announce direct exchange of traffic
MTS and Deutsche Telekom International Carrier Sales & Solutions (ICSS) announced the launch of a direct exchange of traffic in their networks. A direct connection between MTS and Deutsche Telekom was implemented at the Ancotel international interconnectivity center in Frankfurt (Germany), press office of VivaCell-MTS reported.
Thanks to that connection, the company will now be able to mutually exchange the traffic. According to the representative of MTS group Evgeny Moskalev, direct exchange of traffic in mobile networks of Deutsche Telekom will enable the two companies to improve the quality of services provided to end users both in home networks and roaming.
"With our capabilities to provide high quality direct traffic routing, advanced level of customer service and the highest level of quality control, we guarantee to the subscribers of MTS high quality calls when using our networks,"the head of DT ICSS Helmut Angst said.
