Turkey’s Christian confessions celebrate EasterApril 1, 2010 - 14:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Hurriyet Daily News published a schedule of Easter celebrations of the Turkey’s Christian confessions. All celebrations established by the Armenian Apostolic Church canons will take place in two Armenian churches of Istanbul - St. Vardan and Triad, starting from evening of April 1. The paper’s website provided the celebrations’ time, as well as addresses and phone numbers of the Armenian churches. According to the report, there are two catholic churches in Istanbul - Greek and Assyrian. There are catholic churches also in Ankara, Izmir, Iskenderun, Antalya, Antakie and Trabzon. In 2010 the Armenian Apostolic Church and Roman Catholic Church will celebrate the Easter on the same day, April 4.
