According to information provided by "Azg" newspaper, since1993 due to the hard social-economic conditions in Armenia nearly five thousand Armenian citizens emigrated from the country to Southern America, in particular - to Argentina. "Recently the majority of our compatriots, who had emigrated to Argentina, seriously considers the opportunity for returning," - the commission statement says. In the words of Ambassador of Armenia to Argentina Ara Ayvazian, several people returned to their homeland with the assistance of the commission.
