U.S. Senate not planning to consider Armenian Genocide resolution?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Washington, DC, with U.S. Sen. John Kerry, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

As reported by TRT-Russian, the two men touched upon the Armenian Genocide resolution adopted recently by the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee.

According to the report, consideration of the similar resolution in the U.S. Senate is not expected.

The Turkish PM also met with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
