Delegation of RA Defense Ministry participates in NATO committee sitting

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 12, 2010, a delegation of the RA Defense Ministry, headed by Deputy Defense Minister Nazaryan, participated in a sitting of NATO military-political committee in Brussels in NATO-Armenia format. Cooperation goals that were renewed within the framework of the Planning and Reviewing process were discussed at the sitting, the Department of Information of the RA Defense Ministry reported.

The Armenian delegation presented the process of introduction of a special civil service in the Ministry of Defense among defense reforms implemented in Armenia. Highly evaluating these reforms, representatives of NATO member states econfirmed their support and expressed their readiness to continue cooperation in this field.

They also discussed the peacekeeping activities of the RA AF units in the ISAF in Afghanistan that were highly estimated by NATO military-political leadership.
