Armenian, Georgian Education Ministers discuss collaboration![]() April 16, 2010 - 16:20 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan and Georgian Education Minister Dmitry Shashkin discussed collaboration in education sphere, as well as legislative initiative envisaging provision of privileges for university entrants belonging to Georgia's national minorities, head of RA Education Ministry press service, Artur Baghdasaryan reported. Visits to Tbilisi’s No 104 Armenian School, Tbilisi State University and Medical University, as well as meeting with Armenian community representatives are on Armen Ashotyan’s agenda. During his visit, RA Education Minister will be accompanied by Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Hrach Silvanyan. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
